Miss Molly helps people in every stage of their writing process.
Now just because I work with so many doctoral candidates and faculty doesn’t mean I don’t have major love for students who are slogging their way through undergrad and grad school. I ran a writing center for just these types of folks, and I’d be happy to show you some tricks of the trade to make your writing sing.
Editing academic writing is my particular specialty, and I’m proud to say that I’ve helped quite a few doctoral candidates get through this grueling process to graduation. Pursuing a doctorate is no picnic, but it’s a source of genuine satisfaction and achievement when completed. Just need to get to the completed part.
For career docs, you’ll receive writing services, but I’ll also empower you with the knowledge of what makes a great resume, how to tailor your cover letter to the job you want, and some LinkedIn basics. Information is power! Plus I can’t be following you around forever, now can I? That would be weird.

Just Getting Started
Staring at a blank screen? Numb with fear? I’ve been there. I might not be familiar with your particular topic (though with nearly 200 dissertations under my belt, you never know), but I can help you brainstorm your way out of the terror that is your computer screen.
X-Ray Vision
Authors who have gotten the thumbs up from their dissertation committee, professor, or employer need another pair of eyes to dot the T’s and cross the I’s. (Did you catch that?). For these clients, I put on my X-Ray Specs to find the tiny problems others have missed.
Lost in Your Own Sauce?
Some clients have lived in their document for so long it’s like one of those Halloween corn mazes – they can’t find their way out. They need a different perspective, so I bring a (figurative) ladder to help them see over the top and find their way out – and back in.

The med school application process is grueling, and finding the right tone is crucial. I’ve helped many aspiring med school students develop, revise, and perfect their personal statements and secondaries. We’ll get through it together.
